ITINERARY:

Day 1:

Arrival in Prague, greet and meet by English-speaking guide followed by a coach transfer from Prague to Černovice in South Bohemia.

Check-in at a typical village hotel MLÝN, welcome drink, dinner, evening programme, meeting water gnome and making bets on total of captured fish and the biggest fish at the fishing harvest on the next day. Introduction of the fishing harvest manager and briefing on fishery in the Czech Republic.

NOTE: Requests on waterproof fishing boots and their size should be reported in advance. The rental of boots is optional.

Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2:

After breakfast at the hotel, fishing harvest will start. Equipped with their own or rented waterproof fishing boots, some tour participants may join the fishing harvest team. All tour participants can enjoy unlimited hot rum punch and taste fish goulash with white bread as their morning snack, listening also to the Czech brass band on the dike of the pond and having fun with the water gnome.

At the end of the harvest, the fish haul is counted, tour participants enjoy traditional Czech acceptance as members of the fishermen’s guild and they are awarded a diploma as a confirmation of attendance to the harvest.

Enjoy lunch at the hotel comprising traditional cuisine based on Czech fish.

Afternoon ride on board of a narrow-track train in an exclusively booked historical carriage with comfortable return to Černovice on foot. En route surprise for the tour participants: Service car will provide them with rum punch, coffee and biscuits. Return to the hotel.

Festive buffet dinner at the hotel offering traditional Czech food like small sausages, collared pork, smoked meat, roasted duck, goulash, bread and potato dumplings, sauerkraut and others. Prize draw is given to a winner of the bet on the total of fish and the biggest fish. Live music will be on.

Day 3:

Breakfast and check-out of the hotel, morning transfer to Prague and 2-hour city tour on arrival. Check-in at Hotel ORION/Flathotel SIBELIUS, remainder of time at leisure. Overnight Prague.

Day 4:

Breakfast and check-out of the hotel, guided transfer to Prague Airport. Departure from Prague.
